on public notes (first post)

a notepad is born

today I am starting a new blog/public note pad. the goal is mainly to provide a place for my writing, unedited, half finished and extremely imperfect.

the audience is myself and those few eccentrics who might find their way here, or the occasional person who I might share a link with.

goals

at the moment my goals are to write more, and be more transparent about my inner thoughts.

each post aims to be short, and to the point. I really want to avoid rambling and each post should contain some nugget of information, or a open question.

gotchas

while today is this notepads birthday, there are many small notes that I've written in the past that I will be backfilling. So don't be surprised if a post is dated in the past.
